We put in a concrete pedestal this spring for the horse’s water trough so the surrounding erosion wouldn’t cause worsening problems.

Since she’s so aloof most of the time, I thought Bit-Bit needed some attention.
Mostly it’s the 2 babies, but they also occasionally hang out with Mick.
For whatever reason, she’s been more susceptible to cold this year, so we have a new blanket, somewhat heavier, so we can avoid keeping her in her stall every time it hits 20 degrees.
Finally got Bit to relax and nap up on her shelf. It’s still not her go-to escape route when being chased, but we’re making progress. As far as the rest of the cats go, they are all still somewhat confounded by their inability to get into the cabinet, but for the most part they leave it alone. Kiska, however, routinely sleeps on the shelf in front of the flap, usually all cuddled up below the door frame hoping it will impart its secrets to her.
The snow we had at Christmas was not enough to get into the cat’s outdoor space, so we decided to put some in there to let the little white kittens experience snow for the first time.
